Dutch class by Suzanne
Sometimes things come together that are so beautiful that your heart skips a beat.
At Plan Einstein on Joseph Haydnlaan, Dutch lessons have been given for several months by NT2 teacher Suzanne Zonnenberg. She is able to give these lessons thanks to subsidies from a few wonderful foundations. And we are very grateful for that.
These lessons are very important for the residents, as the participants do not yet have a residence permit and are therefore not entitled to Dutch lessons. During this period, Suzanne taught three groups, one of which she taught on a voluntary basis. She teaches illiterate people, beginners, and beginners with intermediate and higher education.
What makes her lessons so special is her humor, her cheerfulness, and her ability to make learning so appealing that participants throw themselves into it wholeheartedly, even though for some of them, learning to read and write was never an option!
The pride and joy on their faces is priceless and so incredibly beautiful.
This summer, Suzanne is volunteering to teach families, and then in September she will start working with three new groups!
