The HerculesHoek is Welkom in Utrecht's living room at the shelter for Ukrainians at Herculesplein. It is a meeting space between Ukrainians and local residents and we organize activities where everyone can participate.
Every first Wednesday of the month, we organize a cooking evening with Buurtbel Wittevrouwen in the Nieuwe Kerk, with the theme ‘World Cuisine’. Each time, a different cuisine is featured. It is an evening where neighborhood residents, church members, and residents of the Star Lodge asylum seekers' center meet, cook together, and eat together.
Every first Wednesday of the month, we organize a women's night at the A Beautiful Mess restaurant in collaboration with De Voorkamer. We get together, explore our creativity, and enjoy fun activities together.

Every other week, we organize activities for the children living in the emergency shelter on Europalaan (Kanaleneiland). Volunteers do crafts and play games with the children.

Every first Thursday of the month, Mijn Wijk Jouw Wijk organizes a get-together from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the neighborhood restaurant A Beautiful Mess (ABM) on the asylum seekers' center grounds at Joseph Haydnlaan 2. Around 30 neighborhood residents and 30 asylum seekers attend. Each evening has a different theme, and we cook and eat together. The neighborhood residents pay for the asylum seekers.
