How did the wealthy Baron van Zuylen live? Why did he have this castle rebuilt in medieval style? Where can you find the architect’s signature?

On a lovely spring day, residents of all asylum centers in Utrecht, as well as Ukrainians were driven by the ever cheerful driver of Jan van Dijk Tours to the beautiful Kasteel de Haar.

Not only the castle in Haarzuilens is worth a visit, but the extensive gardens around it as well. What a gem in the Utrecht area!

Everyone immediately began taking pictures in these photogenic surroundings, marveling at the luxurious rooms and then sitting down in the grass of the beautiful park.

“This was a day to remember, it’s so beautiful here!” said one of the participants. “I learned a lot about the Netherlands, when are we going to do something like this again?”
