Rabobank kid’s afternoon in the HerculesHoek
‘It was so nice to see that despite what the kids are going through they are so positive about it. And we were also all positively surprised that they speak quite a bit of Dutch,’ said one of the Rabobank employees who recently organized a special children’s afternoon at the HerculesHoek, our activity room for Ukrainians at Stadion Galgenwaard.
It was great with those – for children – life-size games. While at least 35 children and their parents played Four-in-a-row or a mega-large man-er-not game together with Rabobank employees, another group of Rabobank employees baked pancakes. Very tasty, the Ukrainian children thought.
And so did the son and daughter of a Rabobank employee who had come along: ‘At first I thought; ah, this is probably not going to be fun, because we don’t know these kids and probably don’t understand them,’ said the daughter. “But it’s really quite fun.
Thank you lots!
