Last Saturday was the Open-azc day, on National Neighbourhood Day. We were also present at all asylum seekers’ centres in Utrecht. Local residents, neighbours and other interested parties could drop by to take a look, to see what life is really like at an asylum seekers’ centre.

There was face painting, an Ethiopian coffee ceremony, crafts, a chip stall, a poffertjes stall, henna, and a lot of flyering for Welkom in Utrecht. In short, a successful afternoon!
