Film-making course at Plan Einstein Pahud
Starting next Monday, July 24, Iranian film director Reza Allamehzadeh will start teaching film classes at Plan Einstein Pahud. Over six weeks, he will teach participants the basics of filmmaking and how to start making their own films using their mobile phones. He will then work with them to edit their own films.
Before fleeing to the Netherlands from Iran in 1983, Reza was active as a film director in his native country. Once here, he continued his work, making a number of wonderful films. Like the 1986 critically acclaimed short film “Those few sentences” of which you can see the trailer here. We are very happy that Reza wants to dedicate himself through art and culture to the asylum seekers and local residents. We enthusiastically look forward to this new activity!
