Cooking connects!
What a treat it is to cook and eat together because it connects people!
On Friday, January 31, we welcomed families to the always cozy The Wild West to cook and eat together! This time there were families from Eritrea, Iran, Syria, Ethiopia, Nicaragua and Venezuela.
The children were proud of the appetizers they had made under Rose’s guidance and, of course, everyone tasted all the dishes from each other.
New friendships were forged and after a big wash-up and a delicious dessert, everyone went home very happy and tired but satisfied….
Thanks Ankie from Het Wilde Westen, Roos and all the parents and children for the delicious food and fun!
