Delicious food from Yemen was cooked by Khadria, Houda, Maryam, Rania, and Lale.

Sam from Yemen sang very beautifully, accompanied by Loes on ud, and percussion by Rami and Sara. And Ebrahim gave a beautiful presentation about his country Yemen.

Residents from different locations of the asylum seekers’ center in Utrecht, local residents, people who came especially for this event because they had visited Yemen before, and even people from Yemen who live a little further away, had come to enjoy themselves together! In the end, some people even started dancing!

It’s really that simple, when you get to know each other you see people. We are all people!
