‘It was great … I really imagined myself in the Middle East for a moment,’ wrote a Ukrainian refugee who went to see the Catching Cultures Orchestra at TivoliVredenburg last Sunday.

There was much beauty there. A pleasant mix of Spanish-speaking, Ukrainian, Arabic and Afghan songs at Choir Duniya. There was a Ukrainian singer and of course there was plenty of Dabke dancing!
