“Bye dear St. Nicholas, this drawing is for you, can I put my shoes tonight?”

This is what 8-year-old Adel from Syria said when he came to visit the house of St. Nicholas with his brother Mohamed of 4 and a bunch of other kids. They came together with their parents and their Dutch friend Nola and her parents. These families hang out together as buddy families. They do fun things together, like eating together, going to the theatre together and going to St. Nicholas.

When St. Nicholas is in The Netherlands, he stays at Museum Catharijneconvent. There we got an amazing tour by Goldie. She showed the kids where St. Nicholas slept, where he works and wraps all the gifts. All the kids even had the chance to speak with St. Nicholas!
