During autumn you can find many beautiful materials in nature to craft with! Ruba Hamzeh, an amazing artist from Syria and Lotta Tol, an enthusiastic Dutch student at the art academy found each other in this delightful children’s crafts workshop they provided at Plan Einstein Haydn. This is a place on the grounds of the asylum center on Joseph Haydnlaan where refugees and Utrechters can meet and learn together.

Lisa Goris, Ksanet Kidane and Khalda Abdu Idrisnor also helped make this activity a great success!

The classroom was transformed into an autumn craft room. The children made headbands, bracelets and beautiful painting, and collages, and enjoyed each others company and the “pepernoten”.

Thanks dear people! Soon we will also organize something for the little ones. And of course we are looking forward to the arrival of St. Nicholas!
