Come have a drink, study or play a game in Pahud's Living Room. Meet new people there or meet up with those you already know. Sometimes you can participate in a workshop. Everyone is welcome! On Mondays between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. for women only.
Sewing workshop women Vlampijpstraat
On Monday mornings, the Welkom Living Room in Utrecht at the Vlampijpstraat asylum seekers' center turns into a sewing workshop. Everyone is welcome, with or without experience. This workshop is especially for women.
Language cafe Vlampijpstraat
During the language café, volunteers help residents of the Vlampijpstraat asylum seekers' center (Zuilen) learn Dutch.
Women cafe Star Lodge
Monday between 11 and 1 o'clock is all about the women of Star Lodge. We meet each other and do activities together.
Mother language cafe Star Lodge
During a language cafe volunteers help residents of Star Lodge to learn the Dutch language. This language cafe is specifically for (single) mothers who do not have access to a babysitter. There are volunteers who look after the kids during the language cafe.
Open walk-in HerculesHoek
The HerculesHoek is Welkom in Utrecht's living room at the shelter for Ukrainians at Herculesplein. It is a meeting space between Ukrainians and local residents and we organize activities where everyone can participate.
Sewing workshop Vlampijpstraat

Dancing with women
Every Monday, there is a dance class at Het Wilde Westen led by Meis.
We come together as women in a safe environment, where we get to know each other through dance. We swing, sweat, and enjoy each other's energy!
Happy Hap Pahud with Buurtmaaltijden
Everybody is welcome to come and have dinner with azc residents and neighborhood residents on Monday nights at Pahud, organized by Buurtmaaltijden.

During our language cafés on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, Ukrainian residents of the shelter on Herculesplein receive support from volunteers in learning the Dutch language.

In Huis van Dominicus you are welcome on Tuesday mornings to drink coffee, practice Dutch and meet new people.
Dutch class Huis van Vrede (beginners)
Bob teaches Dutch to beginners at Huis van Vrede. Please note: there may be a waiting list.
English class
The Volksuniversiteit offers English classes for refugees and non-refugees, from beginners to advanced. Please note that classes are held at Plan Einstein Pahud, Plan Einstein Joseph Haydnlaan and in the HerculesHoek, on different days and times.

Coffee time Europalaan
Every Tuesday, we meet with women who live in the emergency shelter on Europalaan in Kanaleneiland.
Karate class for children
Neighborhood resident Petra gives karate lessons to children living in the asylum seekers' center on Vlampijpstraat (Zuilen). Children from the neighborhood are welcome to join in for a free karate lesson!
Kids club Vechtensteinlaan
On Tuesdays, volunteers organize children's activities for the children living in the reception center for Ukrainian refugees on Vechtensteinlaan.
Language cafe Star Lodge
During a language cafe volunteers help residents of Star Lodge to learn the Dutch language.
Language Cafe Ukrainians (Joseph Haydnlaan)
During this language café, Dutch volunteers help Ukrainian refugees learn the Dutch language.
English Conversation Club HerculesHoek
Every Tuesday, we organize a conversation club to practice English at HerculesHoek. Ukrainians engage in conversation with volunteers on various topics to improve their English language skills.
