The HerculesHoek is Welkom in Utrecht's living room at the shelter for Ukrainians at Herculesplein. It is a meeting space between Ukrainians and local residents and we organize activities where everyone can participate.

Monday between 11 and 1 o'clock is all about the women of Star Lodge. We meet each other and do activities together.

During a language cafe volunteers help residents of Star Lodge to learn the Dutch language. This language cafe is specifically for (single) mothers who do not have access to a babysitter. There are volunteers who look after the kids during the language cafe.

You are welcome to visit the wool workshop. Here wool is washed, dyed and spun. With this you make a work of art, for example a wall or rug. It is close to azc Star Lodge and Ukraine shelters on Herculesplein and in the Provinciehuis.

Every week another dance workshop, so every week you can learn a new dance. The workshop is especially for women, in the Wilde Westen close to the AZC Joseph Haydnlaan.

Every Thursday we meet up with the women living at the emergency shelter at Europalaan in Kanaleneiland.

The Living Room Pahud is there on Thursdays between 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. especially for women. Then there is, for example, dancing, painting or making something delicious. Feel welcome, even if you just want to have a chat or come to listen to music.

Would you like to practice Dutch with a volunteer, but find it difficult to combine this with motherhood? The native language café is specially designed for mothers. A babysitter is available to look after the children so that you can focus fully on the language lesson. Please note: there may be a waiting list.
