The HerculesHoek is Welkom in Utrecht's living room at the shelter for Ukrainians at Herculesplein. It is a meeting space between Ukrainians and local residents and we organize activities where everyone can participate.
Every Tuesday and Friday, the communal vegetable garden on Kanaalweg is open to you. Grow and harvest your own vegetables, work and relax in a green environment and meet and work with others. It is a 15-minute walk from azc Joseph Haydnlaan.
Friday afternoon is dedicated to the children of Herculesplein. Together with volunteers, we organize fun activities for the Ukrainian children who live there.

Every week students from U on Board come to azc Joseph Haydnlaan as well as emergency shelter Europalaan to longboard, skate, play soccer, draw, do crafts and much more! For children between the ages of 5 and 13.

Tai Chi classes at the HerculesHoek are all about balance, relaxation and mindfulness. Residents of the HerculesHoek and everybody else living in Utrecht can join the classes.
The Volksuniversiteit offers English classes for refugees and non-refugees, from beginners to advanced. Please note that classes are held at Plan Einstein Pahud, Plan Einstein Joseph Haydnlaan and in the HerculesHoek, on different days and times.
