The HerculesHoek is Welkom in Utrecht's living room at the shelter for Ukrainians at Herculesplein. It is a meeting space between Ukrainians and local residents and we organize activities where everyone can participate.
On Wednesdays, children and teenagers (primary and secondary school age) from the Overvecht asylum seekers' center can get help with their homework.
Every Wednesday we do handicrafts in the HerculesHoek. Come join us in crocheting, knitting or embroidering with Ukrainian residents of the shelter on Herculesplein!
Every Wednesday, volunteers organize children's activities for the children living in the shelter for Ukrainian refugees on Kanaalweg.
During the language café on Wednesdays, volunteers support residents of the asylum seekers' center on Joseph Haydnlaan in Oog in Al in learning the Dutch language.
Every Wednesday evening, Loraine teaches yoga classes at the reception center on Indusdreef. It is a wonderfully peaceful class that allows you to relax and enjoy some gentle exercise. Everyone is welcome to join!
Every week, Musicaz visits various asylum seekers' centers in Utrecht to make music together!

Every Monday, there is a dance class at Het Wilde Westen led by Meis.
We come together as women in a safe environment, where we get to know each other through dance. We swing, sweat, and enjoy each other's energy!
Neighborhood resident Petra gives karate lessons to children living in the asylum seekers' center on Vlampijpstraat (Zuilen). Children from the neighborhood are welcome to join in for a free karate lesson!
