Together with volunteers you practice the Dutch language. This is especially organized for Arabic speaking residents of Star Lodge. Every week another theme is discussed in conversation.
Would you like to practice Dutch with a volunteer, but find it difficult to combine this with motherhood? The native language café is specially designed for mothers. A babysitter is available to look after the children so that you can focus fully on the language lesson. Please note: there may be a waiting list.
The Volksuniversiteit offers English classes for refugees and non-refugees, from beginners to advanced. Please note that classes are held at Plan Einstein Pahud, Plan Einstein Joseph Haydnlaan and in the HerculesHoek, on different days and times.
During a language cafe volunteers help residents of Star Lodge to learn the Dutch language. This language cafe is specifically for (single) mothers who do not have access to a babysitter. There are volunteers who look after the kids during the language cafe.
