At the beginning of this month, we had another great day with Rabobank.

A while ago we already went bowling together, and this time employees from a team from FEC Global Sanctions took residents of azc Joseph Haydnlaan to the Railway Museum!

A Rabobank employee said beforehand, “We want to send a positive signal with this. After all, we want to get to know refugees in the Netherlands!”

And it certainly succeeded; all participants were incredibly enthusiastic.

The day began at Utrecht Central Station, where there was an opportunity to get acquainted. The atmosphere was immediately pleasant and relaxed. Full of happy energy, we boarded the train to the Railway Museum.

After having a cup of coffee, we explored the beautiful museum in groups of two or three. We delved into the rich history of trains and attended an impressive performance in the Steam Theater. Finally, we even took a ride on the mini roller coaster!

“It was nice to hear where everyone came from and some more personal stories surfaced as well, in a very casual way. This day has inspired me to also do something for refugees in my hometown of The Hague,” the same employee commented afterwards. What beautiful words!
