Once again this year, we received 75 free tickets for the Dutch Brass Ensemble (NBE) concert in TivoliVredenburg. Together with the Refugee Foundation, the NBE organises an annual concert in TivoliVredenburg on Day of Peace. It will feature guest artists with a refugee history. Musicians from various refugee centres are also involved in the concert via a video link in the background.

A wonderful concept and very nice that we too were able to attend in large numbers. A large bus and volunteer drivers collected people from the azc in Oog in Al and on Biltsestraatweg, and Ukrainians were also able to enjoy the concert. It was clear to see that people were really enjoying themselves. People were busy clapping, dancing and singing along. A song sung by Ukrainian singer Mariana Sadovska also caught everyone’s attention.
