On September 30, a group of twelve residents of the asylum seekers centre visited the Museum Catharijneconvent. They were given a special tour by Diane Bacour in Dutch, English and Arabic. Very interesting when people from different backgrounds, from different Islamic and Christian movements, come into contact with Western religious art (mostly Catholic). Some stories and symbolism were recognizable, others were not and there was a lively discussion. Until the cozy drinks and snacks afterwards!
