We enjoy working with organizations and companies to create meaningful experiences together for refugees. Recently, together with Douwe Egberts, introduced to us by Present Utrecht, we organized a fun activity for children at the Star Lodge shelter. Together we made music, laughed a lot, and decorated cakes. It was a beautiful moment of fun and connection for the children and their families!

The activity was not only fun, it also created a special opportunity for Douwe Egberts employees to interact with refugees. They learned about life in an asylum center, the asylum procedure, and how Welkom in Utrecht promotes contact with local communities.

Great collaborations like this give organizations the opportunity to make a social contribution and connect with and learn about this target group. Thank you Present Utrecht and Douwe Egberts for helping us bring a ray of hope to these children and their families, many of whom face daily worries.
