Last week, NL Cares organised a language walk where residents of the AZC Joseph Haydnlaan came together with people from pharmaceutical company AbbVie. The residents were paired with volunteers from Abbvie and began a walk in smaller groups in the Lombok neighbourhood where they had the opportunity to practise their Dutch language skills.

Along the way, they stopped at a café, where they enjoyed delicious coffee and tasty cake. It was a fantastic experience in which they made many new connections.
