“It was fantastic!!!,” a Dutch parent of a buddy family wrote to us after visiting the KennisKnetters festival for children last weekend.

In just about every room in TivoliVredenburg, children could do experiments, watch robots play soccer or see how animals are prepared.

A Dutch buddy family took the Eritrean daughter of the family they were paired with, “There were lots of cool things to do, the kids really enjoyed themselves.”

A Ukrainian mother who went with her 11-year-old son said, “Thank you, it was very interesting and impressive, he was there until the end!”

And a Syrian family were really interested during the preparation of the cat (see photo).
