What do students do in the Netherlands? What does student life look like in Utrecht? And what exactly is a student union?

Several student associations of Utrecht joined us in organizing a few lunches where they also invited refugees to come and take a look.

A group of us visited student association BITON. The students prepared a delicious lunch, played games with the refugees and told them everything about Utrecht student life and their association!

It was a very enjoyable afternoon and our participants were very enthusiastic!

In fact, Ebrahim from Yemen is very eager to become a member! At BITON you don’t need to be a student to join, so Ebrahim will definitely do that!
