On Monday, June 2, we attended the City Meeting \u201cEcht Utrecht,\u201d a special event in honor of Utrecht’s anniversary!<\/p>\n\n
On that day, the square around City Hall was transformed into a warm and welcoming place where locals and internationals, newcomers and old residents gathered at long tables to share a meal and stories.<\/p>\n\n
The weather was sunny, we sat outside and enjoyed delicious snacks and drinks. A nice setting to meet other Utrecht residents!<\/p>\n\n
There was a wonderful mix of musical performances\u2014from Indian and Turkish music to a multilingual choir, and even the sounds of the Ukrainian bandura.<\/p>\n\n
This event was a wonderful reminder that food, music, and conversation truly connect us, and that Utrecht is full of inspiring people who do amazing things for the city.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
