Welkom in Utrecht is committed to refugees living in Utrecht. Our activities help these people build their own network and get to know society. They bring relaxation and contribute to personal growth. In this way we try to promote an energetic attitude to life, which is good for both the refugee and society.
There are several reception centers for refugees in Utrecht We are committed to helping the residents of these centers as well as people with refugee backgrounds who now have independent housing. Ukrainians who fled their country and now live in Utrecht also belong to our
target group.

Welkom in Utrecht consists of several small teams. In addition, work is carried out centrally. For this we are looking for an administrative employee. This employee will have financial and administrative tasks and perform various manual and clerical services for the benefit of the operations.

Can you work accurately, do you like an overview and do you have excellent communication skills? Then this position might be for you!

The administrative assistant:

  • Processes data of a financial nature in financial records (claims, invoices, entries)
  • Archives financial source documents
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in working methods and procedures within the administrative organization
  • Takes incoming phone calls and emails and handles them independently to the extent possible
  • Arranges facility matters, such as managing office supplies and reserving locations for activities
  • Supports the management of our cloud storage
  • Performs various support duties, such as maintaining inventory of office supplies
  • Supports the team in organizing meetings and activities

Profile:

  • MBO work and thinking level 3 or 4
  • Skilled in the use of systems such as Excel, Word, and specific client registration software
  • Knowledge of AVG regulations and data management skills (or able to learn this quickly).
  • Good command of the Dutch language, both written and oral, for conveying information and handling correspondence
  • Orderliness and accuracy for properly processing a diversity of data
  • Integrity in handling confidential data, such as financial and personal data
  • Discrete and reliable: careful handling of confidential information.
  • Stress resistant and flexible: able to handle ad hoc work.
