A museum at azc Pahud
Two weeks ago, we had a very special and emotional activity facilitated by Utrecht University at the asylum community centre Pahud: “The Living Museum: Objects That Tell Our Stories”.
13 participants brought an object they felt emotionally connected to. They then told the story around the object to the people who listened attentively. In this way, attendees became familiar not only with each other’s cultural backgrounds, but also with stories not normally told.
The fact that a connection was sought in this beautiful way not only did those involved very well, but also ourselves.
